The Dairy Adjustment Authority's Audit Committee has a charter to assist with:

  • Managing key business systems and controls.
  • Monitoring the financial position and reporting of accounts.
  • Commissioning, reviewing and progressing internal and external audits.

Chaired by the Dairy Adjustment Authority’s Chair, the Audit Committee is made up of all members of the Authority, with independent internal and external auditors providing the necessary mechanisms for independence of action.

Audit Committee meetings have been formally structured, and are held prior to Board meetings to allow for timely input to the broader considerations of the Authority.
