The Authority has granted payment rights to the value of $1.63 billion to 29,781 eligible dairy producers under the Dairy Structural Adjustment Program, with Market Milk Payment rights of $101.7 million to 7,735 eligible dairy producers under the Supplementary Dairy Assistance Scheme, and Discretionary Payment rights of $17.9 million to 641 eligible dairy producers under the Supplementary Dairy Assistance Scheme. As at 30 June 2003, $712 million has been paid to eligible dairy producers in twelve quarterly payments since the Authority commenced payments under the Dairy Structural Adjustment Program.
