Appendix 4Ecologically Sustainable Development and Environmental PerformanceBack to Contents | Next Section | Previous Section The Dairy Adjustment Authority is a small, short-term Authority that administers a program as part of the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry’s Dairy Industry Adjustment Package and abides by the ecologically sustainable development policies and practices of the department. Legislation administered by the Authority has little or no impact on the environment. In the carrying out of the operations of the Authority, care is taken to minimise the impact on the environment through waste minimisation programs.
